“Working with Angie Nutter, owner of The Curated Home, was an absolute pleasure. She collaborated with us on our villas in Chania, Crete, and brought a level of creativity, elegance, and thoughtfulness that truly elevated every space. Angie’s eye for design is impeccable—she has a unique ability to blend beauty and functionality effortlessly. Beyond her talent, it was her passion, professionalism, and kind spirit that made the process so enjoyable. We feel so grateful to have had her involved and couldn’t recommend her more highly.”

"I have known Angie for several years, but I had never seen her in her element until we traveled to Chania, Greece, to assist a dear friend with her new villa, which was being built on a mountainside overlooking the Mediterranean.
The home had barely any walls, and the marble floors were still being installed, yet every purchasing decision had to be made to ensure the villa was fully decorated and ready for rental season-just four months away!
Watching Angie whip out her laptop, go room by room, document every nook and cranny, and meticulously go through every detail with a fine-toothed comb was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Her natural skill set and ability to bring order to chaos left me speechless. And as someone who has previously worked as a residential real estate broker for over 11 years, I don't impress easily- but Angie knocked my socks off!"

A Full Scale Estate Design
North Palm Beach, Florida

This project was a full scale custom build that was completed in just 6 months while living out of the state!  The design meetings began quickly after the lot was purchased in a concerted effort to pull together color scheme, bathroom design, lighting package, landscaping, kitchen, flooring… everything but the furniture! Â
Blending the British West Indies architecture with a modern coastal interior aesthetic meant sticking to a minimal palette for color, use of a lot of great texture in accents and providing ample spaces to relax and enjoy the blending between indoor and outdoor living. Â
One of my favorite details of this home is the custom wall in the living room made to mimic a giant painting of a flamingo family painted by the homeowner’s most beloved grandmother, who had just passed that Summer. Her grandfather had taken down a tree from their property in the Pacific NW to make the frame on this painting and it truly needed to be a prominent piece in this home. We worked with a local millwork company to design this wall to mimic a rustic cabin. I really enjoy standing in the bright white kitchen and taking in the contrast that the living room provides, instant cozy factor. Â
The client said that upon going through the matriarch of her family’s estate, she only wanted two things: this painting and a mid century modern chair covered in well distressed pink silk fabric that she used to sit in as a child. Her sister found a mate to the chair and we worked with a custom upholsterer to repair the chairs, that also sit cozily in front of the wide planked wooden wall.

“Angie was an absolute joy to work with. Her attention to detail and impeccable taste elevated our dream home. I love design, but I had such mental block when it came to styling those last details and Angie got to work and quickly had everything looking perfect. I can’t wait to find more projects for her to work on!”Â

Captivating Outdoor Living Spaces

No coastal home is truly complete without dedicating thoughtful attention to outdoor living spaces. Focusing where we can connect with nature and appreciate the breathtaking surroundings enhances our senses, helping us relax and find a more harmonious rhythm. When choosing furniture, a pergola, pool, or outdoor lighting -- the overall functionality of these outdoor areas seem to be a byproduct from the inspiration given to us in the natural hues and shades that provide this beautiful backdrop. Before I can design any outdoor space, I find myself sitting on the ground, looking at the clouds, and listening to the birds chirping and just observing how the sunlight filters through the trees. This blending of color, sunlight, soft breezes serves as my creative muse throughout this process.
